Frequently asked questions.

Everything worth knowing about the guest camera, the night, and what happens after.

General

What is Joyfully Invited?
Joyfully Invited turns every guest's phone into one disposable camera. Guests scan a QR code at the venue, shoot up to 24 photos each, play photo bingo, leave notes, and watch a live wall fill in real time. The next morning the host wakes up to the whole night gathered into one curated album.
What kind of events is it for?
Weddings, birthdays, anniversaries, corporate parties, festivals, any night where the guests see moments a single photographer cannot. If people are together and have phones, it works.
Does this replace a photographer?
No. It captures the guest perspective: tables, dance-floor moments, candid notes, the parts a photographer cannot be everywhere for. The two work beautifully together.

For hosts

What does a host need to do before the event?
Create the event, name the night, set a welcome message, choose the camera settings, and print one QR code. That is the whole setup, and it takes minutes.
Can hosts moderate the photos?
Yes. The host control room lets you hide, favorite, build albums, and prepare the share link after the event, so nothing unwanted ever reaches the public album.
What does the host get after the event?
Every photo from the night is waiting in the control room. From there you mark favorites to lead the album, hide any frames you would rather not share, fold guest notes into the keepsake, and send one public link or email it to guests.
How does the live venue wall work?
Open the venue wall on a tablet, cast it to a TV, or mirror it to a projector. New frames float in as guests shoot, and bingo wins briefly take over the screen before yielding back to the photos. It stays dark and cinematic so the guest photos become the decor.

For guests

Do guests need to download an app?
No. Guests scan the QR and use the browser camera. It feels app-like, but there is no app store and no account required.
How do guests join the event?
They scan the single QR code at the venue and the camera opens right away. Guests can shoot anonymously with no sign-in, or use an existing account if they have one.
How many photos can each guest take?
24 each, the same as a classic disposable camera. The limit is intentional. It makes every shot feel chosen, so the album fills with moments instead of near-duplicates.
What is photo bingo?
Each guest gets their own 5 by 5 card of photo prompts (cake, toast, first dance, a laugh). Completing a line triggers a warm win on the live wall, and the host can set a prize. It quietly nudges guests to photograph the whole night, not just their own table.
Can guests leave messages?
Yes. Guests can add a short note alongside their photos, a message or a memory. Notes stay private and reach the host in the curation view, never broadcast to the room, and the host can fold them into the final keepsake.

Pricing & data

How much does Joyfully Invited cost?
It is free for up to 5 guests, then one price per event by guest count, up to €99.99 for unlimited. One payment, never a subscription, and every tier is the whole night: guest camera, 24 shots each, bingo, notes, live wall, curation, and album sharing.
Can I change my tier before the event?
Yes. Guest lists move, so you can adjust your tier up or down any time before the night. You only pay for the size you actually need.
Is there a subscription or recurring fee?
No. Every event is a single one-time payment by guest count. You pay once and you own that event, and guests always join free.
How is my event data handled?
Photos are stored in secure cloud storage and kept for your event's album access window. You stay in control: you decide what is shared, and you can hide or remove frames at any time. Exact retention details live in our privacy policy, and you can always contact us with questions about your data.
